Southland Mall Walkers
Southland Mall has no official program for Mall Walkers. However, for those who wish to walk around the mall for exercise and friendship, here are some quick facts:
- Mall doors open Monday to Saturday at 7:00am and on Sundays at 11:00am for your convenience
- Currently the Centre has in excess of 75 walkers
- Three times around the perimeter of the inside of the mall, including the hallway to the library, equals one mile
- Three times around the perimeter of the inside of the mall equals approximately 750 (average) steps
- The 1st Thursday of every month the Centre offers a “Coffee Break” from 8:00am to 8:45 pm in the Food Court by Robins Donuts. During this time coffee, juice and muffins are served at no charge. This event is sponsored by the Southland Mall Administration office and Robins Donuts
- Best of all...there is no signing up or fees required!
Sanitation Stations
- Located at all main entrances, Customer Care and the public restrooms
Public Restrooms & Family Room
- Public restrooms are fully handicap accessible and are located in the Food Court
- For your convenience, a separate individual handicap washroom is located in the Food Court
- For visitors with babies, a single family room with a chair, change table, counter and sink is also located in the Food Court. Emergency diaper packs are available at the Customer Care Kiosk.
Transit Information
Southland Mall is easily accessible via Regina Transit routes:
- Route 7 (Glencairn, Whitmore Park)
- Route 9 (Parkridge, Albert Park)
- Route 11 (Normanview, Normandy Heights)
- Route 13 (Mount Royal, South Lakeview)
Football Express – Why tackle the traffic going to a Rider game? For $2.00 each way, let Regina transit take you to and from Roughrider games on the Football Express. Buses leave 45 minutes before game time in front of the Southland Mall on Gordon Road (by the Turbo).
